About Us

At VINTAGE House Parts and Radiators, we believe that a customer’s needs are of the utmost importance. Our team is committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of our business is from repeat customers and referrals.

Our experience in the architectural antique and historic renovation industry spans close to 20 years in the Washington, DC metro area. Relationships with inside contacts such as home and commercial contractors have matured over the years, and those long-term relationships offer us special access to vintage materials from their demolition projects, materials that would normally be discarded without our knowledge of their refurbished value and the unique market for vintage house artifacts.

Working with Cast Iron Radiators (both decorative and plain in style) is our specialty! Large and small orders are welcome. We buy Cast Iron Radiators and vintage house parts and retrieve them from buildings; sell from our inventory; rebuild and/or refurbish items like cast iron radiators to fit a specific space; and make deliveries, for a fee upon request. We welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and give you the best service in historic renovation and restoration in the metropolitan area! Our staff is fully bi-lingual (English and Spanish).

Meet the Team

Transcending job titles, our small business is made up of a team of highly-regarded specialists across several fields. Each of us bring a unique skill set to the table, and together make VINTAGE possible!

Saul owns and runs VINTAGE, and has been working in the local salvage scene since coming to the US from El Salvador nearly 30 years ago. His first job was working with Ron Allan at the Brass Knob's former warehouse, and when Ron retired in 2012, he founded VINTAGE. You are most likely to see him running between deliveries and talking with our customers in the shop. He’s always on the lookout for our next great find!  (Spanish, English)

Jorge is our radiator guy, and has been working with Saul since before VINTAGE came into being! Also from El Salvador, he knows more about radiators than just about anyone else and is the muscle behind most of our deliveries and pickups. (Spanish)
Roy runs his polishing business out of his workshop in the back of the shop. He knows more about metals and polishing than just about anyone else in the area, and has been working in the D.C. area on some of the district's most important pieces since before most of us were born! He's available for polishing by appointment only, and can be reached directly at 301.351.7182 (English)

Mikayla is a historian, with her masters degree in Historic Preservation from Penn. She loves research and writing, and talking with folks about their historic homes. She’s likely to be the friendly voice on the other side of the phone, or at the front desk with our warehouse cat, Shuggie on her lap. She's always working to help the business grow to its full potential. You can reach Mikayla directly at mikayla@vintagehousepart.com (English)
